I was speaking to an acquaintance who was telling me that the Knowledge skill was useless and it made me ponder. As a DM, I would take the time to read the adventure ahead of time and write up answers to any knowledge checks which pertain to the adventure. By writing up the answers, and then giving them to the players that made the checks, not only does it make the players feel good, but it also lets them explain the answer in their own words. I dunno, if spending 30 min typing up a series of small paragraphs makes the game better. Why the hell not?

"With the ground crumbling below your feet, and Malignant energies hanging thick in the air, Ydersius god of the serpents Manifests; His once severed, skeletal head now re-attached to his immortal body. With a great bellow a cloud of black venom leaving his mouth as he roars."

"This is really not what I signed on for" Dallet complained, hefting his blade which now seems quite insignificant compared to the god bearing down upon them.
"We must press on! We cannot let the world be plunged into darkness a second time!" Aaron crowned, the Cleric had a brave face as always, despite the crippling wounds in his chest.
Gilthia took a moment to focus herself, and begin to call to mind what spells would work against such a daunting foe, the young elf never imagined she would have to fight a god. "There is no turning back now regardless. I just hope someone has planned how we are going to defeat this thing!"
Jorgun finally pipped in. "I have an idea, but its pretty risky, and I'll need all of you to consent......" Everyone looked at the summoner puzzled "I want to turn you all into my Eidolon" he answered.

So I was up late one night and I was thinking: The Summoner class takes a portion of their soul, and binds it to some cosmic entity which becomes their Eidolon. What if (and that's a big if) they could use portions of other peoples souls to bolster their Eidolon? In turn, the Eidolon would gain the benefits of the abilities of the volunteers, and the players would then work as one creature. The appearance would also change based on what the class/race/alignment of the people who volunteered.

In terms of gameplay mechanics, I suppose it would work as follows:

-All the volunteers would disappear, and the Eidolon would increase one size category.
-Each character (including the summoner), must pay one hero point.
-The Summoner must concentrate on this summon, and can only take partial actions.
-The Eidolon would gain temp HP equal to the current HP of the volunteers.
-Because of the number or humanoids added in, the Eidolon would take on the Humanoid base form.
-The Eidolon may act as normal, and any volunteers may take a partial action to preform any task they want.
-Any Volunteer may forfeit their action to give another volunteer an additional partial action.
-A Haste/Slow spell only affects the Eidolon, and not the Volunteers.
-Unless otherwise noted, the items carried by the Volunteers do not apply to the Eidolon. All equipment worn by the volunteers merge with the Eidolon, and are returned when this summon ends.
-In the event that multiple items are held by a Eidolon, it immediately gains the "Extra limbs" evolution to fit carry the extra items.
-If the Volunteer spends makes an attack, unless they are granted a weapon, they attack with the Eidolons natural attacks.
-If the Summoner is rendered unconscious, or dies, the Eidolon vanishes, and the PC's appear prone, in the squares that the Eidolon occupied.
-If the Eidolon is brought below 0 HP, the summon ends and the Eidolon vanishes, and all volunteers appear prone in the squares that the Eidolon occupied.
-When the summon ends, the volunteers appear in any square that the Eidolon appeared in. Any damage taken by the Eidolon is divided amongst all the volunteers and the Eidolon.

If the Volunteers were mostly Lawful, the Eidolon would appear to wear Heavy armor (+2 armor bonus to AC).
If they were mostly Neutral, the Eidolon appears to be without armor, (+2 dodge bonus to AC).
If they were mostly Chaotic, the Eidolon's form constantly changes and shifts (+2 defection bonus to AC)

Stacking with this bonus, the following Bonuses apply:
If the Volunteers were mostly Good, the Eidolon's body glows, generating light as a "Daylinght" spell. Melee attacks deal an additional + 1 D:6 fire damage on a hit. Creatures grappling the Eidolon take 3: D6 fire damage per round grapple is engaged.
If the Volunteers were mostly Neutral, then the Eidolon's body is strengthened with Resolve. Attacks deal an additional 1: D6 force damage on a hit. The Eidolon gains +5 CMB and CMD
If the Volunteers were mostly Evil, then the Eidolon's body grows wicked spikes. Melee attacks deal an additional +1D :6 piercing Damage on a hit. Creatures grappling the Eidolon take 3: D6 piercing damage

I found my path

For those of you who are still following me on this account. Henceforth I will be adding adventures that are set for Pathfinder. As such they will be 3.5 friendly, but may have trouble converting to 4th. I apologize for any inconvenience this could bring, but gotta keep with the times. Soon enough I'll be adding more maps (in Mitch time this means a few weeks), and Id love to get some feedback from you all.

I hope you all are well and your games are running smoothly.

For those who do not know, this is my alternative account, with :iconangelicadonis: being my main.

Ok, so I'm just preparing more of my maps, but these are the big ones! So please bear with me. Uploading the images is the easy part, typing out the content is the hard part. So please check back frequently! All the Maps I have already posted have now had the key printed in the comments! :D

Also, its all for 3.5, though it can be converted to 4th pretty easily.
